For Familes

Church and Family:

A friend of mine told me, that without question, since he and his family started going to church, his family life had improved dramatically. Have you given
up on church because you didn't feel welcomed, perhaps you felt like the church was more interested in your money than in you, or you simply didn't feel the services were relevant to your life. If that's been your experience, we would like to invite you to FAMILY LIFE Church, where you can discover the joy of the Christian lifestyle.

At FAMILY LIFE you'll meet new friends and get to know your neighbors; enjoy upbeat music with a contemporary flavor; hear positive, practical messages which encourage you each week. If you don't have a church home, give us a try!

Family Makeover:

Is your family life what you want it to be... or could it use some help? A personal spiritual makeover might do wonders for yourself and, inadvertently, your family. The following are some simple steps that, if done everyday for a month, offers you a chance to radically impove your spiritual life, the first step to repairing your Family Life..

1. Get on your knees and pray:
Set a time for just you and God to talk.

2. Sing:
Sometime during the day just hum a little tune or sing a simple song to the Lord.

3. Connect:
Contact a friend for a time of just talking. We all need to be connected with someone.

4. Create A Special Place:
Take a spot in your house or office and make it a place that you can put things that are special to yourself...a picture of your loved ones, a special card you received... go there daily and take a moment to remember what is important to you.

5. Pray with someone:
If it's family, friends or even in a chat room, take the time to go before God with another believer. God wants us to be alive and functioning for His glory.

6. Read the chapter in Proverbs in the Bible that corresponds to that date on your calendar.

This spiritual makeover might surprise you and your friends as you both see what God will do in you. Remember, it's not about you-it's about God working in you.
